Welcome to Flying Fish Cove

We are a producer of premium quality, great value passionately Margaret River wines. The reds, particularly our Cabernet Merlot and Shiraz have been successful in winning a number of medals and awards including a place as a finalist for the coveted Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy in both 2006 and 2007.

Our entries into the Perth Royal Wine Show brought us the 'Most Successful Exhibitor - under 300 tonne' trophy for both 2005 and 2007. We are also home to 'The Young Winemaker of the Year 2009 for Australia and New Zealand' - Ryan Aggiss.

Flying Fish Cove winery is situated 25km north of the Margaret River town site, along Caves Road in the renowned Wilyabrup area. Since our first vintage in 2001 we have grown to produce 23,000 cases a year.

Next door to the winery is 'Wildberry Estate', the Flying Fish Cove vineyard - consisting of 25 hectares of vines planted in 1997.

  Flying Fish
Our core range of wines include varieties and blends that Margaret River is renowned for, as well as a little of those not so common to the region. We have been developing our brand since 2001 and have seen many awards and write ups for our Flying Fish wines since then. The philosophy behind our wines is to make them 'drink now' styles for both formal and casual occasions.
  Wildberry Estate
Named after the vineyard from which the fruit is sourced, the Wildberry Estate range represents the classic Margaret River varieties in a rich full bodied style that benefit from their time in oak and will continue to improve with cellaring over 5 to 10 years. The current range includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
  Offshore
Released in April 2010, the newest members to the Flying Fish family consist of a Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and a Shiraz. This range has been created as an easy drinking wine for fun and casual occasions, appealing to the everyday drinker with fresh eye-catching packaging.
  Cuttlefish
The cuttlefish range consists of a classic red and a classic white, providing an easy drinking everday style of wine. This range has been created to provide exceptional value for money, though still maintaining the premium Margaret River reputation. 
   

Sparklings
Both our Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay and Sparkling Shiraz have been made using the traditional Methode Champenoise technique. Although mostly sold through our cellar door sales, these crowd pleasing sparklings have limited release in bottle shops and restaurants throughout Australia.
